Convention and Visitors Bureau Moves Its Offices
The Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau has voted to leave the Charleston Civic Center. Instead of housing offices at the Civic Center, the board voted to work out of offices the city owns at Appalachian Power Park. The nine employees will have more office space and a larger conference room, and they'll pay more each month for it. The CVB does plan to continue to market the Civic Center as a spot for conventions and conferences.
