Governor Urges Support for Local Christmas Tree Farms
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin encourages West Virginians to buy local Christmas trees this year. The governor says in the state there are more than 30 family-owned "Choose-and-Cut" Christmas tree farms. and visiting a tree farm is an opportunity to spend quality time with family and support the local economy. The West Virginia Division of Forestry supports Choose-and-Cut Christmas tree farms across the state by providing information including the location, operating hours, products, species, sizes and services available at each farm.
