Rep. Capito Wants To Ban Cell Phone Calls on Planes

U.S. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito doesn't want cell phone use on airplanes to become a reality. A proposal is before decision makers now that would permit passengers to use mobile phones while the plane is in the air, and Capito is co-sponsoring a bipartisan bill to ban in-flight calls on domestic commercial flights. Crew members, air marshals, and law enforcement could still make calls. No word yet on when a final decision may come.
