NTSB Tank Car

The National Transportation Safety Board says the tank car that leaked liquefied compressed chlorine had a 46-inch crack. The preliminary NTSB report showed the tanker car had spent the first half of the year in the repair shop and was put back in service in June. The August 27th leak at the Axiall facility in New Martinsville sent two workers to the hospital and exposed six others to the dangerous chemical.
