Officers Crack Down on Distracted Driving

West Virginia’s Distracted Driving Blitz is on… Investigators are cracking down on people not paying attention while behind the wheel. For the next two weeks, nine local police and sheriff departments will crackdown on illegal cell phone calling and texting drivers. Teens are a primary target of the Blitz. The blitz will target school zones, watching high school students that are driving in and heading out, that’s since the national numbers show that teens and people in their early 20’s are the worst distracted drivers.
