One Person in Custody After Standoff

One person is in custody after a police standoff in Charleston on Tuesday. Police said they were called to the home after the suspect and another family member got into a struggle over a gun on Hunter’s Ridge Road about 5:30 p.m. No one was hurt as police swarmed the home. Eyewitness News reported family members inside the home were able to get out before police said a suspect barricaded himself inside the home. The Kanawha County Prosecutor’s office is working on charges.
