Opioid Epidemic Conference
Several national speakers will be in Huntington next week for a conference on the region’s opioid epidemic. The chief medical officer for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration will be among those addressing the gathering. It’s Tuesday at the Brad D. Smith Foundation Hall on the Marshall University campus. It’s a full day event that’s sponsored by the West Virginians for Affordable Health Care, along with the Cabell-Huntington Health Department, the City of Huntington and Marshall University.
