Outdated Voter Files
More than 47-thousand outdated or ineligible voter files have been removed from West Virginia’s voter registration system. Secretary of State Mac Warner said yesterday his office has been working with clerks in all 55 counties and have removed a large number of the files. Warner has encouraged his Elections Division staff to explore reliable and accurate ways to eliminate outdated files from the county voter rolls. They so far have eliminated almost 12-hundred felons from voter files.
