Painkiller Epidemic
West Virginia’s Attorney General Patrick Morrisey says a small town pharmacy fueled the state’s painkiller abuse epidemic. Patrick Morrisey has filed a lawsuit against Larry’s Drive-In Pharmacy of Boone County alleging it provided nearly ten-million doses of highly addictive prescription painkillers in just eleven years. The county has fewer than 25-thousand residents and the suit includes more than half a dozen civil complaint charges. Morrissey is asking for an injunction and variety of penalties.
