Parents facing charges after baby suffers head injury

Two Wayne County parents are facing charges for not seeking medical treatment for their 11-month-old’s head injury. Tawny and Volla Maynard are charged with gross child neglect. They took the boy to the hospital April first with head injuries, two days after, they claim, the child fell out of bed and suffered a skull fracture.
