Paving Companies Want Suit Thrown Out
Paving companies are asking that a pending lawsuit against them be dismissed. Five cities, as well as the Kanawha County Commission and the WV Dept. of Transportation, filed an anti-trust lawsuit against half a dozen paving companies over inflated asphalt prices, and the Gazette-Mail reports the companies argue the case should be thrown out because the West Virginia Attorney General is not involved. No final decision from the judge yet, on whether the case will be thrown out.
