Phone Harassment
A man who owns a cell phone store in Charleston is now charged with telephone harassment. Cynthia Harper of South Charleston said her son went to “Nate Dogg Cellular” to buy a cheap phone because his IPhone cracked. Instead of getting a new phone, Harper said the owner, Nathan Evert, tried to fix the phone and was unsuccessful. Harper called Evert and she said things just went downhill from there. Evert was arrested Thursday and charged with telephone harassment. Harper said if she could lend any advice it would be take your phones to your cell phone providers. She hopes other people who may have been victimized will come forward.
