Phone lines went out due to Theft

Getting on line and getting a dial tone was tough for nearly 700 people in Mingo and Logan Counties this week. Frontier Communications tracked down the root cause of the outages to cable theft. The thief or team of thieves hit six different times by climbing power poles and removing the cable. They risk electrocution from power lines to sell off the copper at reclamation centers.
