West Virginia Division of Highways salt and plow crews were ready when the first winter weather of the year swept through the state over the weekend. The salt levels in road maintenance yards around the state is well stocked, and plows have been on trucks for weeks now. The state has a salt budget of more than 60 million dollars this year.
