Power restored after severe storms Sunday night

Severe weather rolled through the area Sunday night causing down trees and power lines. At one point over eight-thousand homes were without power. All lanes of I-64 have reopened this morning. Just after 8:30, a high tension wire came down at mile marker 49 between Cross Lanes and Institute, shutting down the interstate for several hours. Power is back on in most areas this morning.
