Price of Water

The price of water is something thousands of West Virginian have been talking about in 2016.
When Putnam PSD customers heard about that West Virginia American Water was approved for a 15.1% rate increase, they were happy that they wouldn’t be impacted by the increase.
The average Putnam Public Service District customer pays about $31 per month while the average West Virginia American Water customer pays $47 per month. Putnam PSD officials say that they strive to provide affordable prices while still bringing in enough money to keep things running. The Putnam PSD is currently considering a water rate increase.
