Putnam Officers Give Gifts Instead of Tickets

Putnam County deputies are making headlines for spreading some holiday cheer this week instead of passing out tickets. Putnam County deputies pulled over twenty random drivers this week and gave out $100 gift certificates. Appalachian Rail Services–for the second year in a row–donated those gift certificates, in hopes of changing the perception of law enforcement. ARS also donated gift cards to twenty drivers in Mason County.
