Reminder: No Alcohol Sales on Sundays
If you’re planning on buying liquor in West Virginia to celebrate Christmas and to ring in the new year, you’ll want to buy it early. The state Alcohol Beverage Control Administration is sending the reminder that retail liquor stores can’t sell on Christmas Day or on Sundays. Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, as does New Year’s Eve. You can’t buy alcohol on either holiday, but wine, beer and champagne will be for sale after 1 p.m. on Sundays.
