A West Virginia transportation official says a recommendation will be made to end a contract with a nonprofit group that operates a roadside assistance service. Department of Transportation deputy secretary John McBreyer told a legislative Post Audits Committee Monday that DOT officials believe it would be less expensive and more efficient for the Division of Highways to handle the Courtesy Patrol.
