Saturday Parking Fees to Be Waived Through December

The city of Charleston is waiving parking and meter fees for downtown shoppers on Saturdays through Dec. 29. Charleston City Council passed a bill to waive parking fees each Saturday beginning Nov. 24 through Dec. 29 for city-operated parking garages and meters. The fee waiver is also for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.
