School Board and Gas Companies Reach Settlement
Capital High School has had problems with its gas lines, and they’ve reached an agreement with the company that supplies it. The Public Service Commission talked about the case Wednesday involving the Kanawha County School Board and Mountaineer Gas, and since a settlement was reached they’ll dismiss the case. Reserve Oil will disconnect its gas line and Mountaineer Gas will continue to serve the school. Reserve Oil can keep drilling on site and Mountaineer Gas will use it and credit the school board.
