Search for Three Missing in a Mine Ends With a Successful Rescue

The search for three people in an abandoned mine in Raleigh County ended with all three being found alive. 25-year old Kayla Williams, 31-year old Erica Treadway, and 21-year old Cody Beverly had been missing since last Saturday morning December 8th and rescuers found them just before 7 pm last night about a thousand feet from where rescuers entered the mine. Rescuers were able to find one of the women by the sound of her yelling, and she was able to tell them where the other two were. They were then taken to CAMC General Hospital in Charleston but appeared to be okay. 43-year old Eddie Williams walked out of the mine Monday evening.
