Sheriff’s Office Plans DUI Checkpoint

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is planning a DUI checkpoint tonight in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program. The planned high visibility sobriety checkpoint will be set up from 9pm to 2am on US Route 60 near St. Albans. This is one of several random sobriety checkpoints set up throughout the year, as part of a zero tolerance for impaired driving.
