Slow Buck Harvest

This year’s two-week buck harvest season in West Virginia is being called a slow one. State officials say 25-percent fewer bucks were harvested during the season, which ran from November 21st through this past Saturday. It was not exactly a surprise as predictions called for a decrease due to several factors, including weather. The buck harvest decreased in all six DNR districts.
