Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Saturday

Heads up for drivers this weekend…The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program plans a high visibility sobriety checkpoint on Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on WV Rt. 25 near Institute. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has a “zero” tolerance when it comes to impaired driving and this is one of several targeted patrols throughout the year.
