Some Students Support Teachers During Strike

Students marched at the State Capitol on Friday in support of teachers. Many students said they know their teachers pay out of pocket for things they need in the classroom, and they support teachers’ efforts to secure a raise. Some students said at the rally that they don’t mind if their spring break gets canceled or if they have to attend classes in June because it’s worth it for the teachers.
