State Budget

A state budget is still not in place for West Virginia. Lawmakers have been working in special session, trying to put a spending package in place for the next fiscal year. Governor Justice has been calling for tax reform and less reliance on the “Rainy Day” fund, but a deal has yet to be inked. A spending package needs to be approved by the beginning of July or the state government could shut down.
