State Capitol removing Trees

The sounds of chain saws ripping through trees will ring out around the State Capitol soon. The Capitol Building Commission agreed to the plan to remove three dead trees and a healthy tree in and around the capitol at their meeting yesterday. One of the trees is being chopped down because exposed roots are causing a tripping hazard near the Discovery Kingdom Day Care, which will open in December.
