State Police Look for New Home for Whitesville Detachment
West Virginia State Police are looking for a new home for the Whitesville detachment that’s been housed at a former Elementary School. The Charleston Gazette reports that the lease won’t be renewed and the troopers must be out of the building by the end of the year. State police spokesman First Lt. Michael Baylous says the agency is looking for another building to lease. Raleigh County Schools Superintendent David Price says the building is no longer used for educational purposes, and will revert back to its owner.
