State Police warn of phone scam

West Virginia State Police say they’ve received several reports of phone scams asking for hundreds of dollars. State Police say they will not solicit contributions over the phone, by mail or door-to-door. If you receive a call, saying they represent State Police, do not give out any personal or banking information.
