State’s Revenue

“Pretty flat” is how Justice administration Chief of Staff Nick Casey categorizes the state’s revenue numbers as the new fiscal year begins. Collections for the month of July were nearly three-million dollars below the estimates. However, there continues to be some positive signs with severance taxes on coal, oil and natural gas continuing to climb.
