Strike Could Be Prevented at WVU

A deal is in place that should prevent a strike at WVU Hospitals. Strike notices had been issued last week for Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 814 at the hospital as the current contract is set to expire this weekend. However, a tentative agreement was announced and a vote is expected next week. Nearly one-thousand workers are covered under the contract.
