Student Banned from School After Snapchat Threat

The Charleston Police Department said a criminal investigation is underway after a George Washington High School student made a threat on social media. Police officers were contacted by Kanawha County Schools about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday about threat sent through the Snapchat app. The student has been banned from the school until the investigation is over.
