Supreme Court Interviews Set for Dec. 11

Now is the time candidates are applying for seats on the West Virgingia Supreme Court after a vacancy was created by the resignation of Justice Allen Loughry. The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Committee will conduct candidate interviews on December 11th and then submit a list of recommended justices to the governor, but he doesn’t have to pick who they recommend. The person appointed will serve on the Supreme Court until at least the May 2020 election.
