Teacher walk-out Thursday & Friday

West Virginia teachers will hold a walkout Thursday and Friday in response to the legislature’s inaction on low wages and an increase in health care costs. Unions representing the teachers made the announcement on Saturday at a rally at the State Capitol. Around 10-thousand people attended the rally over the weekend.
