Teacher walkout could effect extracurricular activites

With teachers across the state planning a walkout Thursday and Friday, Kanawha County school officials say schools will be closed both days, and that will have an effect on extracurricular activities. All regular activities and sports will be canceled if there is no school. Only activities on Thursday and Friday would be affected, not Saturday.
