There’s Still Time to File a Claim in the Water Settlement

With eight days left to file a claim in the $151 million water crisis settlement, about 65 percent of the potential residential victims have filed a claim. With the filing deadline closing in, 66,786 residential water users have filed a claim, and WCHS TV reports some of the 3,858 businesses that have filed a simple claim may be missing out on what the chemical spill really cost them. The range of businesses affected was more than just restaurants and motels. Any unclaimed money will go back to the water company.
