Thief Steals Money Marked for Children’s Charity

Police are trying to figure out who would steal money that was intended for kids. Investigators say someone wearing a mask broke into the Huntington Veterans of Foreign War 1064 last weekend and stole the fund meant for children at Christmas. Surveillance video showed a man breaking a glass door with a brick to get inside, and then he’s seen grabbing the container near the door and leaving. Police think the man had been there before and knew exactly what he was looking for. He left the money in the cash registers alone. If you have tips, call police.
