Ticket Scam in WV

There’s a ticket scam working its way across West Virginia that uses the department of motor vehicles’ name. Attorney General Patrick Morrisey says emails are being sent out that demand payment within 24 hours or licenses could be revoked. The scam says the money is due for a ticket or something similar, but there’s no truth to the accusations. Morrisey is urging anyone who receives the email to delete it and not to click on any links.
