Tomblin Flood
Governor Tomblin is pleased with the Legislature’s passage of a flood relief bill. Lawmakers were called into special session this week to find funding to cover costs of the June 12th flooding rebuilding. A measure was approved Monday that covers West Virginia’s 25-percent share of expenses. Tomblin says the state can continue working with FEMA to determine whether West Virginia will ultimately qualify for the federal government to cover 90-percent of all disaster-related expenses.
