Tomblin Sees Tax Hike
Governor Tomblin sees a tax hike in the future for West Virginia. The governor says budget cuts can only do so much for the deficit woes, and at some point additional revenue sources will need to be addressed by the next governor and the legislature. Republican Bill Cole has left all his options open for further cuts and tax modifications. Democrat Jim Justice has campaigned that he feels a comeback for coal will help generate enough additional revenue for the state.
