Tomblin update on flooding
West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin is pledging more support to flood victims. The governor visited Greenbrier and Kanawha counties right after the storms and says he has never seen tragedy like what has just happened in West Virginia. More than 400 people remain in shelters and initial estimates indicate that more than one-thousand homes could be destroyed or damaged beyond repair. Tomblin said assistance has already been approved by the federal government and additional requests for help are expected in the next few days.
