Trump Visits Scouts
Scouts at the Summit Bechtel Reserve welcomed President Donald Trump last night. He spoke to over 30 thousand scouts. WVVA TV reports that there have been seven sitting presidents who visited their yearly get togethers at other places over the years, but this was a first. Trump addressed the scouts, and thousands of volunteers during the National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the very first president to ever visit the Boy Scouts, back in 1937.
