Two Appointed to Parole Board
A woman who retired last month from the federal Bureau of Prisons and a man who spent more than 30 years on the Beckley Police Department have been selected to serve on the West Virginia Parole Board. Jennifer Saad and Cedric Robertson were appointed by Gov. Jim Justice, each to terms ending in June 2023, according to a news release from the governor’s office. The nine-member Parole Board is part of the West Virginia Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety. The board makes decisions on conditional releases for adult offenders and also makes clemency recommendations to the governor.
