Two Facing Charges in St. Albans After Suicidal Reports
Deputies have been investigating after getting a call Sunday about a suicidal man with a gun near St. Albans. The man was detained at a place on Whispering Way, along with several others. Sgt B-D Humphreys says one of those detained was 32-year old Michael Ward, and he tried to toss out prescription pill bottles beneath a police cruiser. Inside the pill bottles were 14 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 2 grams marijuana, 4 kolonipin pills, and 3 roxycodone pills. He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substances. The allegedly suicidal man was 31-year old Michael Zabrieszack, Jr of Saint Albans, and he was also arrested and charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. A search also turned up a host of stolen property and additional charges are pending.
