Unemployment Rate
The lowest unemployment rate in West Virginia can be found in Pendleton and Jefferson counties. WorkForce West Virginia said yesterday the rates fell in all 55 counties and those two were very strong for jobless figures. The statewide rate dipped last month by four-tenths of a percentage point to five-point-three-percent. Counties with an unemployment rate above eleven-percent included Mingo and McDowell while Cabell County logged in at four-point-three-percent.
