Vatican approves St. Mary’s sale

The Vatican approved Cabell Huntington Hospital’s purchase of St. Mary’s Medical Center. The Vatican approved the transaction with the understanding that St. Mary’s will remain a Catholic-affiliated facility and maintain its name in addition to the values and mission established by the Pallottine Missionary Sisters.
