Verizon Clarksburg

Communications Workers of America members in Clarksburg are among the thousands of Verizon workers on strike along the eastern United States. More than two-dozen CWA Local 2011 members from the Clarksburg Call Center were on the picket lines yesterday. Workers are upset over cuts in health care benefits, pensions and the proposed outsourcing of five-thousand jobs overseas.
