Volunteers Arrive in Nicholas Co. to Help Rebuild

The lead elements of an army of volunteers have arrived in a Nicholas County town to launch a 10-week effort to repair and insulate homes damaged three months ago during floods. Seventy-two from six groups are already there, including people from all parts of the country and serveral different church denominations. The volunteers are installing moisture barriers, replacing flooring, hanging drywall, putting in insulation, doing electrical work and installing storm windows that were donated.
