Voting day!
West Virginians are heading to the polls for a packed primary election with presidential contests, a Democratic showdown for governor and a crowded winner-take-all state Supreme Court race. After 10 days of early voting, Election Day polls open Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. in the Mountain State and close at 7:30 p.m. Independent voters _ those who aren’t registered with the Democratic, Republican, Libertarian or Mountain Party _ can pick whichever ballot they’d like.
